The Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association (VCOSA) is pleased to introduce the speakers for the VCOSA Year-End Review Meeting 2024, scheduled to take place on January 9, 2025, at Phu Bai Industrial Park, Thua Thien Hue. This meeting aims to summarize the activities of the association and Vietnam’s spinning industry in 2024, share the vision and direction for 2025, and serve as an excellent opportunity for networking among VCOSA members.

Speaker: Mr. Le Quang Thanh
Position: Yarn Production Leader – Decathlon Vietnam
Highlights:
Mr. Le Quang Thanh is a leading expert with over 15 years of experience in the yarn industry in Vietnam and Taiwan. Currently serving as the Yarn Production Leader at Decathlon Vietnam, he has successfully established a comprehensive yarn supplier network and integrated filament and spun yarn suppliers into the brand’s supply chain. He is also actively involved in textile recycling projects with nonprofit organizations and textile associations.
Topic 2: Essential Certifications for Ensuring Sustainability in the Yarn Industry
Speaker: Ms. Phan Thi Sao Mai
Position: Deputy Team Manager – Control Union Vietnam
Highlights:
Ms. Phan Thi Sao Mai is an expert in evaluating international standards in traceability, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. With over 10 years of experience, she has led assessments and provided consultancy on renowned certifications such as GRS, OCS, GOTS, Higg Index, and many other sustainability-related standards, supporting industries ranging from cotton, yarn, and fabric to footwear and handbags.
In addition to the insightful presentations by the speakers, the meeting will feature:
