VCOSA at VTG 2026: Connecting Members, Fostering Cooperation, and Strengthening Vietnam’s Textile Industry

From October 14–17, 2026, the Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association (VCOSA) participated in the 24th Vietnam International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (VTG 2026), held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. Throughout the exhibition, VCOSA carried out a range of activities to promote member companies, strengthen connections across the textile supply chain, and facilitate industry dialogue on the issues shaping the future of Vietnam’s textile and garment sector.

VCOSA’s Joint Pavilion: Showcasing the Capabilities of Member Companies

One of VCOSA’s key activities at VTG 2026 was its joint pavilion, featuring a diverse range of products and solutions from member companies and partners across the textile value chain. From fibers and yarns to fabrics and finished textile products, the exhibits reflected the diversity of manufacturing capabilities, technologies, and development strategies represented by businesses in Vietnam and the wider regional supply chain.

This year’s joint pavilion featured Tường Long Denim; Vĩnh Phương Trading and Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; Hương Sen Comfor Yarn Co., Ltd.; Asia Pacific Rayon; the Representative Office of Arise Integrated Industrial Platforms in Ho Chi Minh City; Wakefield Inspection Services (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.; Renze Textile Joint Stock Company; Phú Thọ Textile Co., Ltd.; Vietnam Petrochemical and Fiber Joint Stock Company (VNPOLY); Rạng Đông Textile and Garment Industrial Park – Aurora IP; An Phú Thịnh Joint Stock Company; Faslink Sustainable Fashion Joint Stock Company; and Bitexco Nam Long Joint Stock Company, among other participants.

Through this collective exhibition model, VCOSA provided member companies with opportunities to showcase their products, enhance brand visibility, connect with potential customers, and explore new business partnerships. The pavilion also enabled visitors to directly access a range of products and solutions across the textile value chain, from raw materials to finished products and supporting services.

By bringing together businesses from different segments of the industry in one shared space, VCOSA strengthened the visibility of its membership at one of Vietnam’s major industry exhibitions while facilitating connections among manufacturers, suppliers, and international partners.

VCOSA Industry Seminar: Exploring Vietnam’s Next Competitive Advantage

On the afternoon of October 16, 2026, VCOSA hosted a specialized industry seminar titled “Vietnam’s Next Competitive Advantage: How Can the Textile Industry Stay Ahead in a Changing Asian Sourcing Landscape?”

The seminar focused on shifts in regional textile supply chains and the factors influencing the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses amid a rapidly evolving international market. Beyond manufacturing capacity, product quality, standards and certification, market responsiveness, and operational flexibility are becoming increasingly important to maintaining a competitive position in global supply chains.

The program featured expert presentations followed by a panel discussion, bringing together representatives from VCOSA, Hohenstein Laboratories Vietnam, and Avery Dennison RIS.

The speakers included Ms. Tran Hoai Thu, Vice Secretary General of VCOSA; Ms. Duong Huynh, Head of Certification at Hohenstein Laboratories Vietnam; and Ms. Vickie Tran, Development Manager at Avery Dennison RIS.

Following the presentations, the panel discussion provided an opportunity for the speakers to explore the challenges facing the textile industry as Asian supply chains continue to evolve. Perspectives from industry association leadership, certification, and business development broadened the discussion and highlighted the importance of keeping pace with market requirements and identifying practical approaches to strengthening competitiveness.

Through the seminar, VCOSA continued to promote professional dialogue, facilitate knowledge sharing, and strengthen connections among organizations, experts, and businesses across the textile ecosystem.

Strengthening Connections Across the Textile Industry

VTG 2026 brought together 400 international brands and 610 booths across 15,000 square meters, with participants from 11 countries and territories. The exhibition was held alongside VFM 2026, VITATEX 2026, and DYECHEM 2026, creating a comprehensive platform spanning machinery, materials, textile processing, dyeing, garment manufacturing, and footwear production.

As part of the event, Mr. Nguyễn An Toàn, Chairman of VCOSA, attended the opening ceremony, representing the Association at an important industry networking and trade promotion event.

VCOSA’s participation through both its joint pavilion and specialized seminar enabled the Association to promote member businesses while contributing to discussions on the future direction of the industry. These activities complemented one another: the pavilion facilitated direct engagement between businesses, customers, and partners, while the seminar provided a forum to examine market trends, supply-chain requirements, and long-term competitiveness.

VCOSA’s Continued Commitment to Supporting Its Members

Through its activities at VTG 2026, VCOSA continued to fulfill its role in connecting businesses, supporting product promotion, and creating opportunities for members to expand their domestic and international business relationships. These efforts also form part of the Association’s broader commitment to information sharing, industry insights, and stronger collaboration across the cotton, spinning, and textile value chains.

VCOSA extends its sincere appreciation to all member companies participating in the joint pavilion, the seminar speakers and attendees, and the partners who contributed to the Association’s activities at VTG 2026. Their participation and cooperation provide a valuable foundation for VCOSA to continue delivering practical initiatives that strengthen competitiveness and support the sustainable development of Vietnam’s cotton, spinning, and textile industry.
