Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association (VCOSA) is proud to welcome ASIA PACIFIC RAYON (APR) as a new member. APR is the first integrated viscose rayon producer in Asia, operating from plantation to fibre production, with an annual capacity of 325,000 tonnes.
Based in Indonesia, APR champions responsible manufacturing, following EU-BAT standards and having received ZDHC certification for zero discharge of hazardous chemicals.
In addition, APR is exploring the future of fibre with Lyocell by Sateri – its sister company – using closed-loop processes that align with circular economy principles and reduce environmental impact.
VCOSA believes that APR’s membership will help strengthen Vietnam’s fibre value chain, enhance transparency, and expand sustainable cooperation in the global textile industry.
