Representing Vietnam’s textile sector, VCOSA engaged in discussions centered on technological transformation, notably artificial intelligence (AI) in textile and fashion. Key topics included production digitization and efficiency enhancement, aligning with global trends in sustainable, tech-driven, and green fashion.
Nobel laureate economist Christopher Pissarides and WGSN CEO Carla Buzasi emphasized AI’s transformative role in global fashion and manufacturing. The VCOSA delegation actively exchanged insights on applying these advances to meet the aesthetic and production demands of international markets.
Inauguration of the “International Textile Associations China Center”
The event also marked the launch of the “International Textile Associations China Center,” designed to foster collaboration among textile associations worldwide. Through this event, VCOSA aspires to further integrate Vietnam’s textile industry into the global arena, fostering a sustainable network to advance production and address worldwide fashion demands.
