Cotton Brazil Outlook Ho Chi Minh City 2026 strengthens trade connections between the Vietnamese and Brazilian textile industries

Following the successful event held in Hanoi on May 25, 2026, Cotton Brazil Outlook Ho Chi Minh City 2026 continued in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of numerous Vietnamese cotton, spinning, and textile enterprises alongside international partners from Brazil.

The program was organized by the Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association (VCOSA) in collaboration with Cotton Brazil, with the participation of leading Brazilian cotton organizations, including the Brazilian Cotton Growers Association (Abrapa), the Brazilian Cotton Shippers Association (ANEA), and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

The Ho Chi Minh City event continued to serve as an important meeting point for spinning mills, textile manufacturers, sourcing teams, and raw material trading companies in Southern Vietnam — a key commercial and export hub of the country’s textile industry.

Representing the Brazilian delegation, Mr. Celestino Zanella, Vice President of the Brazilian Cotton Growers Association (Abrapa), delivered remarks at the event and expressed his appreciation to VCOSA for its close cooperation in organizing the Cotton Brazil Outlook Vietnam 2026 series in Vietnam.

He highly valued VCOSA’s role in strengthening connections between the Vietnamese textile community and international partners, while emphasizing that Vietnam has become one of the strategic markets for Brazilian cotton in Asia.

According to Mr. Zanella, as the global supply chain continues to evolve, stronger direct engagement between businesses from both countries will help expand trade opportunities, support sustainable supply chain development, and enhance connectivity between Brazil and Vietnam’s spinning and textile sector in the years ahead.

The event was also attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), together with representatives from spinning mills, textile manufacturers, garment companies, and raw material trading enterprises across Southern Vietnam.

Throughout the program, speakers and industry experts from Brazil shared insights on Brazilian cotton production and exports, sourcing trends, logistics, and the latest developments shaping the global textile raw materials market.

Beyond industry discussions and market updates, Cotton Brazil Outlook Ho Chi Minh City 2026 also created valuable networking opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises and international partners, contributing to stronger trade connections and broader cooperation opportunities across the textile supply chain.

Through the Cotton Brazil Outlook Vietnam 2026 series, VCOSA continues to reinforce its role as a bridge connecting Vietnam’s textile industry with international organizations and partners, contributing to sustainable development and stronger global connectivity for Vietnam’s cotton and spinning sector.
