Hyosung tiếp tục đầu tư dự án lớn tại Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu
Cùng với dự án Nhà máy sợi Carbon đang được triển khai thuận lợi, Tập đoàn Hyosung (Hàn Quốc) tiếp tục đầu tư dự án có vốn đầu tư khoảng 720 triệu USD tại Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu. Đây là thông tin tại buổi làm việc giữa UBND tỉnh với Tập đoàn Hyosung (Hàn Quốc) diễn ra chiều 4/12.
Theo đó, sau khi khảo sát, Tập đoàn Hyosung quyết định đầu tư dự án có quy mô lớn tiếp theo tại Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu. Đó là nhà máy sản xuất sợi sinh học (nguyên liệu làm sợi vải spandex) từ đường thô, với trị giá khoảng 720 triệu USD tại KCN Phú Mỹ 2. Đây là một trong những dự án đầu tiên không chỉ của Hyosung, mà còn của thế giới sử dụng công nghệ hiện đại để sản xuất loại nguyên liệu này.

Hyosung Group (South Korea) is expanding its investment in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province with a new project worth about $720 million.
The project will produce biofiber, a material used for making spandex fabric, from raw sugar. The project will be located in Phu My 2 Industrial Park and will be one of the first such projects not only for Hyosung, but in the world to utilize modern technology for manufacturing this type of material.
This is the second major fiber project of Hyosung Group in the province, after the Carbon Fiber Plant project that is progressing well. The provincial People’s Committee and Hyosung Group had a meeting on December 4th to discuss the details of the project.
