Giá bông toàn cầu giảm, giá giao ngay tại Ấn Độ giảm nhẹ
Theo Cotton Incorporated, giá bông toàn cầu nhìn chung đã giảm trong tháng qua. Hợp đồng mở đáng kể nhất đã chuyển từ hợp đồng tháng 12 tại New York/ICE sang hợp đồng tháng 3, với hợp đồng này hiện đang giao dịch ở mức 80 cent mỗi pound, giảm từ mức 89 cent mỗi pound vào tháng trước. Chỉ số A cũng giảm từ 97 cent xuống 89 cent mỗi pound.
Giá bông Trung Quốc, được đo bằng Chỉ số bông Trung Quốc (CC 3128B), giảm từ 114 xuống 106 cent/pound, tương đương mức giảm từ 18.400 xuống 17.100 RMB/tấn. Cotton Inc cho biết trong báo cáo “Triển vọng Giá & Nguyên tắc cơ bản về Thị trường Bông – tháng 11/2023 ” rằng tỷ giá hối đoái của Nhân dân tệ so với đồng đô la Mỹ vẫn ổn định ở mức khoảng 7,29 RMB/USD.
Tại Ấn Độ, giá bông giảm không đáng kể. Giá giao ngay tại Ấn Độ, đặc biệt là giá Shankar-6, giảm từ 90 cent xuống 87 cent/pound. Theo giá trong nước, có nghĩa là giá mỗi kg bông giảm từ 59.000 xuống còn 56.700 Rupee/candy, với đồng Rupee Ấn Độ (INR) giữ ổn định ở mức khoảng 83 Rupee đổi một đô la Mỹ.
Đi ngược lại những xu hướng này, giá bông giao ngay của Pakistan đã tăng từ 72 lên 75 cent một pound. Quy đổi sang giá trong nước, giá tăng từ 16.600 lên 17.700 PKR/maund. Đồng Rupee của Pakistan (PKR) mất giá nhẹ so với đồng đô la Mỹ, từ 280 PKR xuống 285 PKR trên một đô la Mỹ.

Global cotton prices dip, Indian spot prices show minimal decrease
In the past month, global cotton benchmarks have seen a general decline, according to Cotton Incorporated. The most notable shift in open interest has moved from the NY/ICE December contract to the March contract, with the latter’s prices currently at 80 cents per pound, a drop from last month’s 89 cents per pound. The A Index also fell, from 97 to 89 cents per pound.
Chinese cotton prices, measured by the China Cotton Index (CC 3128B), decreased from 114 to 106 cents per pound, translating to a drop from 18,400 to 17,100 RMB per ton. The Chinese Renminbi (RMB) remained stable against the US dollar, maintaining a rate of approximately 7.29 RMB/USD, Cotton Inc said in its Cotton Market Fundamentals & Price Outlook – November 2023.
In India, the decrease in cotton prices was less pronounced. Indian spot prices, specifically Shankar-6 quality, reduced marginally from 90 to 87 cents per pound. In domestic terms, this meant a fall from ₹59,000 to ₹56,700 per candy, with the Indian Rupee (INR) holding steady at around ₹83 per USD.
Contrasting these trends, Pakistani spot cotton prices saw an increase from 72 to 75 cents per pound. In domestic terms, this translated to a rise from 16,600 to 17,700 PKR per maund. The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) experienced a slight depreciation against the dollar, moving from 280 to 285 PKR per USD.
