Hiệp hội Bông Ấn Độ hạ ước tính sản lượng bông xuống còn 33,975 triệu kiện cho vụ 2022-23
Hiệp hội Bông Ấn Độ (CAI) hôm 20/12/2022 đã giảm ước tính sản lượng bông khoảng 425 nghìn kiện xuống còn 33,975 triệu kiện cho niên vụ 2022-2023, bắt đầu từ tháng 10 năm 2022, do sản lượng ở Haryana, Andhra Pradesh và Karnataka dự kiến sẽ giảm.
CAI cho biết trong một tuyên bố, tổng sản lượng bông trong mùa trước ước tính đạt 30,705 triệu kiện, thấp hơn 3,27 triệu kiện so với ước tính của mùa hiện tại.
Theo dữ liệu của CAI, sản lượng bông niên vụ 2022-2023 của Haryana ước tính đạt 1,302 triệu kiện, Andhra Pradesh là 1,5 triệu kiện và Karnataka là 2,4 triệu kiện.
Tổng nguồn cung bông cho tháng 10 và tháng 11 năm 2022 ước tính là 8,468 triệu kiện, bao gồm lượng bông mới đến 5,029 triệu kiện, nhập khẩu 250 nghìn kiện và lượng hàng dự trữ đầu vụ được CAI ước tính là 3,189 triệu kiện vào đầu vụ.
Hơn nữa, CAI đã ước tính mức tiêu thụ bông cho tháng 10 và tháng 11 năm 2022 là 4 triệu kiện trong khi các lô hàng xuất khẩu tính đến ngày 30 tháng 11 ước tính là 100 nghìn kiện.
Nguồn cung bông ước tính đến cuối vụ bông 2022-2023 là 38,364 triệu kiện. Bao gồm lượng hàng dự trữ đầu vụ là 3,189 triệu kiện vào đầu mùa bông vào ngày 1 tháng 10 năm 2022, sản lượng vụ mùa ước tính 33,975 triệu kiện và nhập khẩu trong mùa là 1,2 triệu kiện.
Tiêu thụ nội địa ước tính đạt 30 triệu kiện so với 31,8 triệu kiện trong mùa trước.
Xuất khẩu ước tính đạt 3 triệu kiện, so với 4,3 triệu kiện trước đó.

CAI Lowers Cotton Crop Estimate To 339.75 Lakh Bales For 2022-23
The Cotton Association of India (CAI) on Tuesday (20/12/2022) reduced the cotton crop estimate by 4.25 lakh bales to 339.75 lakh bales for the 2022-23 season, beginning from October 2022, as the production in Haryana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka is expected to decline.
The total cotton production in the last season is estimated at 307.05 lakh bales, which is 32.7 lakh bales less than the current season estimates, the CAI said in a statement.
The production of cotton crop for 2022-23 season for Haryana is estimated at 13.02 lakh bales, Andhra Pradesh at 15 lakh bales and Karnataka at 24 lakh bales, according to CAI data.
The total cotton supply for October and November 2022 is estimated at 84.68 lakh bales, which consists of arrivals of 50.29 lakh bales, imports of 2.50 lakh bales and the opening stock estimated by the CAI at 31.89 lakh bales at the beginning of the season.
Further, the CAI has estimated cotton consumption for October and November 2022 at 40 lakh bales while the export shipments up to November 30 are estimated at 1 lakh bales.
The cotton supply estimated till the end of the cotton season 2022-23 is 383.64 lakh bales. It consists of the opening stock of 31.89 lakh bales at the beginning of the cotton season on October 1, 2022, crop for the season estimated at 339.75 lakh bales and imports for the season at 12 lakh bales.
The domestic consumption for the season is estimated at 300 lakh bales against 318 lakh bales in the previous season.
The exports for the season have been estimated at 30 lakh bales, compared to 43 lakh bales earlier
