Following the success of the Trade Matters 2023 training course, VCOSA is pleased to extend an invitation to you for the upcoming the workshop training titled “Trade & Quality Matters 2024”. This event, organized by VCOSA in cooperation with International Cotton Association (ICA), will take place from April 4th – 6th, 2024 in Thai Binh, Vietnam.
The 3-day workshop training will feature participation from leading cotton experts from ICA. This program offers in-depth knowledge and training on (1) How to make a concise contract and ensure smooth contract performance; (2) Agents/Brokers’ Functions; (3) Arbitration & Appeal Procedure – How to resolve claims, disputes through amicable settlement, mediation and arbitration; (4) Quality standards, value differences, and allowances; (5) Textile Processes, Spinnability, Traceability and Beyond.
Additionally, the workshop training will include practical sessions on cotton quality testing and the calculation/utilization of value differentials in commercial contracts, led by experts. Participants will also undergo an examination after the program to receive an internationally recognized certificate issued by ICA.
