Session 1 – “Cotton Classing & Testing Training 2024” program organized by ICA Bremen and VCOSA
On April 23rd and 24th, 2024, Session 1 of the “Cotton Classing & Testing Training 2024” program, organized jointly by ICA Bremen and VCOSA, was successfully held at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel.

The training program welcomed active participation from numerous Vietnamese cotton and fiber companies’ representatives, with the direct guidance of Mr. Jens Wirth, Director Cotton Quality & Rules at ICA Bremen, and Dipl. -Ing. Axel Drieling, Senior Manager Cotton at FIBRE (Fibre Institute Bremen).

The course encompassed theoretical and practical content related to cotton classing and testing. The practical component aimed to assist the participants in applying the shared knowledge directly to their work practices. ICA Bremen made thorough preparations by providing sample cotton boxes and the necessary tools and equipment to ensure an optimal learning environment for the participants.

On the upcoming days, April 25th and 26th, VCOSA and ICA Bremen will continue organizing Session 2 with similar content and quality, promising to be an opportunity for ICA Bremen experts to meet and share more with representatives of Vietnamese cotton and fiber businesses.
