Các nhà máy sợi ở miền nam Ấn Độ đang tìm cách giải phóng hàng tồn kho mặc dù giá thấp
Các nhà máy kéo sợi ở miền trung và miền nam Ấn Độ đang ráo riết tìm cách giải phóng hàng tồn kho trong bối cảnh sức mua kém. Họ sẵn sàng giảm giá cho thương lái và người mua số lượng lớn. Tại Mumbai, giá sợi cotton tiếp tục giảm đối với một số chủng loại. Nếu nhu cầu từ các ngành hạ nguồn cải thiện, lượng mua sợi cotton sẽ tăng.
Thị trường Mumbai ghi nhận mức giảm 2-5 Rupee/kg đối với một số chủng loại sợi cotton. Nhu cầu từ ngành dệt vẫn yếu, không biết liệu sức mua có cải thiện hay không. “Các nhà máy kéo sợi đã kêu gọi các nhà môi giới và thương nhân mua hàng tồn kho của họ. Họ nhất quyết yêu cầu giảm giá khi mua hàng và thương lượng giá cả. Nhưng mức chiết khấu ít ỏi sẽ không cải thiện được tâm lý thị trường”, một thương nhân từ Mumbai nói với Fibre2Fashion. Tuy nhiên, sức mua được cải thiện hoặc giá hàng hóa thấp hơn có thể thúc đẩy tâm lý thị trường.
Tại Mumbai, sợi cotton chải thô chi số 60 sợi dọc và sợi ngang được giao dịch lần lượt ở mức 1.700-1.750 Rupee và 1.610-1.630 Rupee/5 kg (chưa bao gồm thuế GST). Sợi dọc chải kỹ chi số 60 giá 360-365 Rupee/kg. Sợi cotton chi số 80 chải thô (sợi ngang) được bán với giá 1.530-1.570 Rupee/4,5 kg. Sợi cotton chải thô 44/46 (sợi dọc) có giá 313-318 Rupee/kg. Sợi cotton chải thô 40/41 (sợi dọc) được bán với giá 300-305 Rupee/kg và sợi chải kỹ 40/41 (sợi dọc) có giá 315-320 Rupee/kg, theo công cụ phân tích thị trường TexPro của Fibre2Fashion.
Thị trường sợi cotton Tiruppur vẫn giảm. Các thương nhân cho biết các nhà máy kéo sợi nhỏ hơn đang rất muốn bán sợi cotton của họ. Họ đang giảm giá sâu, mặc dù hồi đầu tháng họ không giảm giá sợi. Thiếu niềm tin vào việc mua hàng trong tương lai của ngành công nghiệp hạ nguồn.
Ngày 06/12/2022, sợi cotton chải kỹ chi số 30 được giao dịch ở mức 300-305 Rupee/kg (chưa bao gồm thuế GST), sợi chải kỹ chi số 34 ở mức 315-320 Rupee/kg và sợi chải kỹ chi số 40 ở mức 320-325 Rupee/kg tại thị trường Tiruppur. Sợi cotton chải thô chi số 30 được bán với giá 270-275 Rupee/kg, sợi chải thô chi số 34 với giá 275-280 Rupee/kg và sợi chải thô chi số 40 với giá 285-290 Rupee/kg, theo TexPro.
Tại Gujarat, bông được giao dịch ở mức 66.700-67.200 Rupee/candy loại 356kg. Giá giảm khoảng 2.000 Rupee/candy so với thứ Sáu tuần trước. Các nhà máy kéo sợi không quan tâm đến việc mua với giá cao hơn. Theo các thương nhân, giá sợi đang đối mặt với nhu cầu thấp từ ngành dệt và do đó, các nhà kéo sợi đã giảm mua hàng với giá cao.

Spinners in south India looking to clear stocks despite low prices
Spinning mills in central and south India are desperately looking to clear their stocks amid poor buying. They were willing to offer discounts to traders and buyers purchasing in large quantities. Cotton yarn prices weakened further for some varieties and counts in Mumbai. Cotton yarn buying will improve only if demand from downstream industry improves.
Mumbai market witnessed a decrease of ₹2-5 per kg for some of the counts and varieties of cotton yarn. Demand remained weak from the weaving industry because they are unsure if buying will improve. “Spinning mills were calling brokers and traders to buy their stock. They insisted on offering discounts on purchases and negotiating prices. But meagre discounts cannot boost market sentiments.” a trader from Mumbai told Fibre2Fashion. However, improved buying or price cuts in raw materials can strengthen market sentiments.
In Mumbai, 60 count carded cotton yarn of warp and weft varieties were traded at ₹1,700-1,750 and ₹1,610-1,630 per 5 kg (GST extra), respectively. 60 count combed warp was priced at ₹360-365 per kg. 80 carded (weft) cotton yarn was sold at ₹1,530-1,570 per 4.5 kg. 44/46 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was priced at ₹313-318 per kg. 40/41 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was sold at ₹300-305 per kg and 40/41 count combed yarn (warp) was priced at ₹315-320 per kg, according to Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro.
Tiruppur’s cotton yarn market remained bearish. Traders said that smaller spinning mills were desperate to sell their cotton yarn. They are offering heavy discounts, although they did not decrease the prices of yarn in the beginning of this month. There is a lack of confidence regarding future buying from the downstream industry.
Today (06/12/2022), 30 count combed cotton yarn was traded at ₹300-305 per kg (GST extra), 34 count combed at ₹315-320 per kg and 40 count combed at ₹320-325 per kg in the Tiruppur market. Cotton yarn of 30 count carded was sold at ₹270-275 per kg, 34 count carded at ₹275-280 per kg and 40 count carded at ₹285-290 per kg, as per TexPro.
In Gujarat, cotton was traded at ₹66,700-67,200 per candy of 356 kg. The prices decreased by around ₹2,000 per candy since last Friday. Spinning mills were not interested in buying at higher prices. According to the traders, yarn prices are facing poor demand from the weaving industry, therefore, spinners have cut down on buying at higher prices. Price disparity is discouraging consumer industry from buying.
